Petroglyphs. Look like deer or elk. These are on the west side of the trail just up from the last fence-crossing before heading up to the top of Skull Mesa. They are not a couple of hundred yards up, but rather between the 6th and 7th metal fence posts (red with white tops) up-trail from the gate.
