Once you get to the south of Helmet Rock, you have this view of a bench and some monoliths in the distance. We would later head over to that bench by going back down into the wash, up the Arroyo and up and over toward it. It is on the GPS route. It does LOOK like you might be able to get straight across from here but we didn't try at the time.
