On the beginning east end of Williams Lake TR62 is the- unofficial use trail route- that serves as an alternative hiking route to summit NMs highest- Wheeler Peak at 13,161ft; Today we are using this route as part of a shuttle hike to summit Wheeler Peak then take the standard route, TR#90 back down to end at Taos Ski Village TH-TR90 end at 9457ft;
