We stopped at Marias Pass to check out the Memorial Park which has expanded somewhat from the last time I had come through about 30 years ago . Now when I drive from west to east, if the Sun is open I go that way no matter how much longer it takes where as back in the day, it was always Highway 2.

The weather continued to be ominous which made it even more difficult for me to remember this drive. I had done it so many times as we used to have a home and business in Whitefish along with a home and farm in Havre plus my favorite cousins lived in Kalispell/Big Fork so I used this road a lot. But now, I only remembered bits and pieces of it.
