back on the trail toward the remnants of the old sawmill. Randy tells me there are photos of these mountains almost bare from the timber that was cut off of them in the late 1800's, early 1900's. The lighting is very interesting in this Canyon. Also loved the lichen/moss on the log in front of you. Unfortunately, this photo doesn't reflect the real lime color like what we saw.
