This fifth day I needed a little exercise after breakfast clean-up and decided I would try to find a doable off-trail hiking route down from the campsite to enter Barbershop Canyon drainage; As I was placing rock cairns for the route down, I looked up and saw some serious black storm clouds approaching so I quickly aborted this effort for another attempt on my next visit, hopefully summer 2012;
