I always like coming upon an area where you can't see what's on the other side. This is the pretty part of the trail so even though you've just got done making the most significant part of the steep climb, your eyes are drawn to the landscape. You can see the trail ahead on the left. That was the other fun thing is you really don't know where the trail is going to go.
