What I was trying to show you here is how the mountain is breaking away from itself. Sometimes I would be walking along and see I was walking on one of those pieces that was separated from the mesa. I would quickly find my way back onto the mesa. Aren't the mesa walls beautiful though especially toward the bottom where you have the lines of color.
