I keep wanting to call this Nesting Crane Canyon but is actually called Cranes Nest Canyon at Mile 56. We hung out here for a bit. We didn't have to be in any kind of hurry as our put out time wasn't until 4 and we only had about 3 1/2 miles left to paddle. There is camping and such allowed on this beach. It really is nice. We were intrigued by the leaf structure for the flora in the UR photo.
