The area around the Gauging Station (on the right - NV side). Operated between 1920-1930 to measure depth of water, rate and quantity of flow and suspended silt.
We would eventually be paddling to the left to get to Emerald Cave and then paddling back up to the area on the left (AZ side to get up to the Catwalk Trail).
