Lee Hamblin was born in 1812 in Kaskaskia IL (45 minutes from where my gt grandparents lived but not until the mid 1840s).

The condemned man stood, gave his last words, then resumed his perch on the coffin. He was executed by a firing squad of men inside wagons.
