Goshen North Wind Farm outside of Idaho Falls. from bp.com: Approximately an 11,000-acre site located some 10
miles east of Idaho Falls, Idaho.
The Project: The Goshen North Wind Farm became commercially operational in October 2010. The wind facility
generates enough renewable wind energy to power over 37,000 average American homes, annually.
Wind Turbines: The wind farm utilizes 83 General Electric xle wind turbines each with a rated capacity of 1.5 megawatts
(MW) to generate 124.5 MW of electrical power.
Transmission: The project built, owns and maintains a seven-mile transmission line which connects into the existing 17-mile 161 kV transmission line that connects to the Goshen sub-station.
Power Sales: The power output from the Goshen North Wind Farm has been sold under a long-term power purchase
agreement to Southern California Edison.
Project Benefits: A total of 250 workers were employed at the peak of construction. A full-time staff of more than five
workers is employed to monitor and maintain the wind farm.

Behind it is: WIKI - The Ririe Reservoir is a reservoir located near Ririe, Idaho. It allows for irrigation, flood control, and provides recreational opportunities.
In 1972 the Ririe Dam, built on Willow Creek by the United States Bureau of Reclamation, was the site of the first practical application of steel fibrous shotcrete, which was used to build a tunnel adit. The dam's total capacity is more than 100,000 acre-feet of water.
