Dale's Field Setup...Males will come down for Water too, so he puts Bowls of Water out. Inside that little Pup Tent was quite the Surprise...Dale was doing an Experiment for another Entomologist Friend in Florida and flew the Friend's Pet Spider on the Airplane with him. That must have been some conversation going through Security! It's an Orb Weaver and one of the biggest and most colorful I've ever seen....We are talking small Tarantula Size here and she was happily kicking back in her Web in that little Tent. Apparently, they attract Moths and the Friend wanted to see if that was true in other parts of the Country besides Florida...Apparently, according to Dale, the Moths don't like her here.... I would have gotten her Photo, but I don't think it would have come out very well....
