I rested my arm on this dock while trying to paddle upstream. One time I got as far as that big house on the right, or maybe a little further, but it was hard. There is a narrow spot up there with very strong current. With the river so low there is no room for it to form eddies which I could use to travel upstream. Other parts of the river are easier to paddle up, but not this section.
