We discovered the remains of a rock wall that enclosed a small circular area at the end of a ridge protruding from the side of the canyon. It appeared to be the remains of an Indian fortress type ruin. We would find more ruins as we followed the ridge top. These ruins would be our consolation prize for not finding any cliff dwellings.
