View of our destination as we started up the hillside. We had planned to search along the base of the cliff for cliff dwellings starting near the area labeled "Highest Pt Reached" but the terrain was so difficult to negotiate with cliff outcroppings and heavy growths of scrub oak that we aborted the search upon reaching the cliff. Our path would take us over the first cliff row tagged in the picture.
