I saw some bits of cloth that had washed down the gulley, and been buried in sand. When I stopped to look, I also noticed some buried, rusty, metal. A gentle tug revealed this old car cassestte deck. No car nearby. Best I can figure out is it washed down from a homeless camp, on the adjacent Hill 1833, which I cleaned out 15 months ago ( [ photo ] ).
