After a 2.5 day rental car drive from AZ I arrived in TX on 7/2. This first evening with my oldest daughter we all attended a swimming awards banquet for my youngest 13 y/o GD (left) who had recently completed her summer swim team league. My 13 y/o is most active in theater & competitive team soccer (defense) but this is the off season for her soccer team so swimming in the summer.
My oldest ~17 y/o GD (right) now a junior in H/S hopes to have a few college swim scholarship offers by her senior year. She excels in 50-100m backstroke and freestyle events. Competitive team swimming is very big in the great state of Texas.
