Saw this guy on top of the ridge on the west side of FR139C. I was tired of walking on roads when I exited Barbershop Canyon and decided to go off trail following the ridge top back to camp. When I got to camp the GH Jeep was gone. GH would arrive back at camp about a half hour later. He had gotten bored in camp and drove up to the intersection of the Barbershop Trail and FR139 to wait for me and give me a ride back to camp. I unknowingly bypassed him when I decided to take the off trail route back to camp. Definitely a more relaxed and quiet alternative to a bumpy ride in the noisy GH Jeep.
