Lower Tamarack Lake. Conditions for photography were poor early on. This lake looked to be in decent shape considering the drought. Most of the high mountain lakes I've seen in California the last 2 years looked to be about full, but I suspect that's because these lakes don't hold a lot of water. The real story is how much water flows through the lake.
