The first of two tanks along the trail. Although the dam appeared in good condition it appears to never hold very much water. Most likely the trail was originally made by a bulldozer coming here to make this tank. Some maps show 3 tanks on this bench called Cherry Tank 1, 2 and 3. The two tanks I found were not at those locations and I did not attempt to verify if tanks were actually at the locations shown on the map.
