There appeared to be a fork in the trail at this sign. A faint trail angled to the left off the more heavily used trail. Based on other HAZers' gps tracks, this faint trail is the East Divide Trail #287 and also the route to Kennedy Peak. However I would encounter another fork in the trail labeled East Divide Trail a short distance past Mud Spring. Perhaps the second intersection is another alignment of the East Divide Trail. It was confusing so I just stuck to the most heavily traveled trail which led to Mud Spring and the Tortilla Trail #254..
