This is really quite a tree and every time I hike this trail I seem to have to take a picture of the tree. It really stands out once all of the other color around it turns to gold or brown. Anyway, you can see the creek is drying up. Also, over to the right, you can see the stone steps you would normally use to cross the creek when there was water there.
