These saguaros, on the west side of the canyon, are above a narrow tunnel and hole (which is out of frame to the bottom right) leading up to the vantage point from which this photo was taken. Making our way up through this tunnel/chimney was easier than bushwhacking through the brush on the east edge of the canyon. Two of our group opted to do bushwhack on the way up-canyon. All but one of us (who went another way entirely) opted to go through the hole/tunnel on the way back.
