Current was fast.... post rapid areas had white caps 4 to 6'....the water was very cold, at times, felt like at ocean in the big pools beneath rapids...one of our guys capsized and was in water for almost 2 minutes....took 40 minutes to recover on the hot sandy beaches near Palisades. The Colorado is not necessarily your friend.
