Plenty of cracks between planks and through knot holes to provide sufficient ventilation for indoor cooking with the propane stove but I still opened the doors while cooking. The sound of the surf got pretty loud when high winds came up the first night. Probably why I didn't hear my visitor enter the cabin on the first night.
