Shortly after passing the wilderness sign, I came to this eroded gully. I think that the trail continues through that slight gap in vegetation at the left edge of this photo. However, it's also possible that the trail instead continues through another similar looking gap that I spotted lower down and to the right (which is not in this photo). Anyway, this is where I turned around.
