within a minute of visiting the first of four ruin clusters in the perry tank / pueblo pato area, my son found a painted sherd, seashell, and obsidian fleck ...in the next few hours we found no other shells nor painted pottery this clear, but we did see lots of obsidian and 1000s of unpainted potsherds.
