I saw this rock outcropping as I was wandering about through the desert trying to follow the Skull Mesa Trail. I saw a distinct horizontal cut (not shown in this photo) that looked almost like a old road on a nearby hillside. I thought that the Skull Mesa trail might lead there, but it didn't come anywhere close.
