don't let this scene deceive you. We basically round a couple more corners and then started looking for a site big enough for our three tents. The storm clouds were building all around us. Shawn nixed the setting up in the wash ahead to setting up on one of these areas below us. It was not a joy trying to set up the tents as the wind was howling and gusting. About 10 minutes after set up, the rain spatters began. And then it started to get cold. It didn't let up enough to crawl out of the tents except for about a 15 minute period. And then we were stuck... for 14 hours, ugh!
