Looking out the back of the Graffiti Ranch towards Maricopa Peak. My new pack is an Jansport school kids bookbag. It had the closest layout to my old pack (also a bookbag, but slightly smaller). The "Tahitian" orange is a huge plus for visibility. The Honda Racing hat is my new hiking cap, replacing the greasy mess I threw out in Florida. Re' the newspaper: Printed 3/28/18, it shows that whoever owns this place has recently been out here.
