View along the Weatherford Trail. Two hikers I encountered in the Inner Basin Meadow on the their way up to Agassiz. They moved much faster than me and probably reached the Weatherford Trail 1.5 hours before me. Some conversation revealed that they hadn't gone any further. The charming young lady who spoke with a French accent was in good spirits but not so much her male friend. He has a problem with onset of altitude sickness above 9000 ft and at 11000 ft wasn't feeling too well so they wisely had stopped their ascent upon reaching the Weatherford Trail.
