It was 4:15 pm and the heat made us look for camp - Casa De La Luna. We found it in wonderful wash and we lay about in the shade of cotton wood that were just beginning to leaf out. We lolled about for close to 2 hrs before it got bearable to set up our tents (for bugs) and think about dinner... We had tanked up earlier at a cattle trough and spend the time rehydrating ...all I can say is OPPRESIVELY HOT!
