This stretch of land over in Washington was sure impressive. I think it's called Coyote Wall. A three-mile trail leads from the Columbia River to a 1,800-foot high point on top of Coyote Wall. This area is also called "The Syncline" which I think is part of the Bingen Gap, and related to the Ice Age Floods which I followed when I was in Montana and Idaho a few years back.
