An AZ wildlife biologist told me this is a Red Belted Conk, I was on the lookout for “Chicken of the Woods” which I’ve seen before but not this weekend.
I’m not usually a fan of mushrooms unless they’re stuffed or smothered in cheese and spices but I’m looking forward to trying a few hand picked AZ shrooms.
