Here are some more comparison photos for you as we break out of the trees and start one of the bigger switchbacks on this hike. The UL photo is 2018 of course and the rest are from 2011. A lot more snow for sure in 2011. And let me tell you, crossing that snow field ahead was nerve-wracking.
