this was the last day of the Wooly Mammoth Exhibition since Aug 30th. The National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) opened the exhibition "Mammoth: the giant of prehistory", in the Cerro de Trincheras Archaeological Zone, with the aim of disseminating information from the exhibition of this skeleton -of more than 10, 500 years ago-, the works that are currently carried out in the field of research, protection, conservation and dissemination of the paleontological heritage in Mexico.
