Discovered the remains of a wire fence extending from the cave across the small bench above the creek. The wires had been wrapped around tree trunks and posts which were all in stages of disintegration. Strange for a livestock fence to not be made of either barbed wire or woven wire. I suspect this may be re-purposed wire from the power (or telephone/telegraph) poles on the ridge above the canyon.
