This little guy was right on the trail. I was worried that the jogger who had just passed me might have stepped on him, but he was OK. Just lying motionless hoping I wouldn't notice his orangeness. He was little, less than a foot long. This must be the time of year for these guys because I'd never seen one before this week, and now I've seen two of them on different days.
