Indian Gardens at 4.5 trail miles is the further green area in the center of the photo The river, nearly 9 trail miles away, is beyond the end of the highly visible Plateau Point trail. Phantom Ranch is about a mile on other side of the river in the huge drainage coming down from the North Rim.
