But before we start hiking, we need huckleberry stuff. Nite One we had dinner at the Swiss Lounge in Many Glacier Lodge. I had the Huckleberry Smash (LL). It was delish. We also had Smoked Rainbow Trout dip that was so delicious and they give you a lot. Nell's at Swiftcurrent Inn where we were staying has changed; I don't recommend eating there unless you have to. Shame on Xanterra!
Day Two: The LR picture is Huckleberry Creme Fizzes (I think that's the name) at World Famous Johnson's at St Mary (after our hike)
The upper picture (after our lunch) is at Two Sisters near Babb. The waiter and owner were amused by our order. You can't quite see it but that is a wine huckleberry cocktail above the huckleberry pie and of course huckleberry ice cream. My drink was a Hucktini but not nearly as good as mine. John, the owner, said he'd be curious what my recipe was.... so am I as it changes almost every time I make Hucktinis. Oh and I ordered a Huckleberry Wheat Lager beer to go.
