According to the hand park map -- pick one up at the gate! -- the Potato Patch Loop proceeds through two of four "life zones" in Hualapai Mountain Park: Pine / oak (here), Mixed Conifer (between Hualapai and Hayden junctions), plus Chapparal and Fir / Aspen (on the peaks).
