A wash, a typical Sedona wash. Frankly, in many years of visits, I have never witnessed a flow in a wash strong enough to scrap down the terrain so deep and cleanly. However, those who live in Sedona state that in the right season flows in the washes could challenge a veteran kayaker trying to paddle upstream.
