Back to the hike after a short lunch break. I will be going down that ridge which hopefully has the Mormon Ridge Trail. First I have to take a trail that will get me to the ridge. Never could find the trail so I just headed down the slope in the general area where My GPS said the trail should be. Turned out to be a slide down a very steep slope through dense aspen tree saplings. Took me an hour to go the .8 miles. I did spot a 50 yard section of what looked like a trail but for all purposes this trail doesn't exist anymore.
