A shed hunter I encountered in the backcountry a few years back told me he found ruins in the Blue. I will be honest I thought he was mistaken. He verbally gave me some cryptic directions from his poor memory, but he did provide some solid points of reference and I was able to find one of the sites a few years ago. I shared the spot with Katie on this trip. For the record, the approach may have been a little longer and more rugged than I had remembered.
