After eating a lot of blackberries on the trail while coming back, I heard a rustling in a thicket of New Mexican Locust. This little fella ran up this tree. I could see a larger figure which I knew was its mother. I yelled so she would hear me. She did, and came out on to the trail to inspect me. She stood up, which was neat. Usually bears just run away from me, but she didn't most likely due to her cubs.
