This fish barrier was built during the time I lived in Eagar. It is to keep the brown trout and other non-native fish from going upstream, to protect the native Apache Trout. The creek is the South Fork of the Little Colorado River. This runs into the main LCR just downstream about 5 miles or so, and eventually ends up in Grand Canyon. I love these connections to Grand Canyon!
