Note here first, what I thought Orchard Beach provided, without looking deeper. An urban beach, a fun and lively and enjoyable place of people and bathing suits and kids playing and beach umbrellas. Absolutely great stuff, but not a place I would think offered hiking and scenery and photography and solitude. But . . . (see next picture please.)
