sadly I forgot take a photo of the actual little face after the previous obstacle, but this is the view looking down into the canyon from what looks to be a shear drop (but is a nice little walk!).

It -looks- like there's an old route (or just a game trail) traversing along the other side above the bushes, which you can access early via a little rocky drainage. It'll still end up dropping into a pooeyshow of bush near the end, but it'd probably be better than going up the drainage itself if this route seems a little much
