I brought home a bottle of the muddy water and added a pinch of Alum from the spice rack at Fry's. Shake it up, and overnight, voila! If you have time, this seems a far better idea than clogging your filter, or just chemically treating and drinking the muddy water. I'm interested what others do to solve this problem.
